Prep the lemon. Wash and dry the lemon.
Zest first, then juice. Measure 1/2 teaspoon zest and 1 tablespoon juice.
Add liquids first. Pour almond milk into the blender. This helps the blades catch everything smoothly.
Layer the rest. Add yogurt, protein powder, banana, blueberries, lemon juice, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt.
Sweeten if needed. Add honey or maple syrup if you prefer a touch of sweetness.
Blend until silky. Start low, then increase speed for 30–45 seconds until completely smooth.
Add ice and blend again if you want it thicker and frostier.
Taste and tweak. Need more brightness? Add a splash more lemon. Too tart?
A bit more banana or sweetener balances it out.
Serve right away. Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy while it’s cold and creamy.
